Terms of Use
Terms governing access to Becker Technologies websites, secure portals, downloadable materials, SaaS systems, and related digital services.
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the public websites, secure portals, authenticated system surfaces, downloadable materials, digital assets, release packages, support resources, administrative interfaces, APIs, test environments, and related SaaS services or platform materials made available by Becker Technologies (Pty) Ltd.
By accessing or using any Becker Technologies website, platform, portal, controlled environment, or related service, you agree to these Terms of Use to the extent applicable to your access. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the affected services or materials.
1. Scope of access
Becker Technologies may provide access to a range of digital surfaces, including public informational websites, authenticated user environments, secure administrative systems, digital asset delivery surfaces, and other controlled SaaS-related functionality. Access may vary by role, product, tenant, environment, or operational purpose.
Certain services, environments, or materials may also be governed by additional commercial terms, customer-specific agreements, tenant-specific conditions, operational rules, or product-specific notices. Where additional terms apply, they supplement these Terms of Use.
2. Authorised access and account responsibility
Access to certain areas of our websites and platforms is restricted to approved users. You are responsible for using only credentials and access methods that have been properly authorised for you. You must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, account details, access tokens, and other access mechanisms associated with your permitted use.
You may not share access credentials, impersonate another user, allow unauthorised third parties to use your account, or attempt to access systems, data, downloads, or environments outside the permissions granted to you. You are also responsible for complying with any environment-specific access rules, acceptable use expectations, and operational constraints that apply to your role or platform surface.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Becker Technologies services and materials only for lawful, authorised, and properly governed purposes. You may not misuse the platform, interfere with the operation of the services, or attempt to bypass safeguards or controls designed to protect users, systems, or data.
Without limitation, you must not:
- attempt to bypass access controls, security restrictions, or permission boundaries;
- access data, systems, or environments beyond the scope of your granted permissions;
- introduce malicious code, harmful automation, or disruptive traffic into our systems;
- abuse downloads, protected assets, or controlled digital distribution surfaces;
- misuse APIs, integration endpoints, or webhook mechanisms;
- attempt unauthorised scraping, extraction, or bulk collection of protected materials or service data;
- replay protected events, integration flows, or delivery mechanisms without authorisation;
- interfere with release controls, operational telemetry, or administrative governance;
- use the platform for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or rights-infringing activity.
4. Platform governance and operational control
Becker Technologies operates governed digital platforms. Access to features, environments, integrations, downloads, dashboards, or operational surfaces may be modified, restricted, suspended, version-gated, or revoked where required for security, maintenance, product evolution, contractual obligations, operational governance, legal risk management, or platform integrity.
We may also impose limits, approval requirements, release controls, feature gating, or environment-specific operational restrictions where necessary to protect the reliability, safety, supportability, or lawful operation of our platforms and services.
5. Intellectual property
All software, interfaces, designs, content, digital assets, release materials, downloadable packages, documentation, branding, trade names, logos, platform structures, and associated intellectual property rights remain owned by Becker Technologies or its licensors unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Access to a public website, portal, test environment, authenticated system, support surface, or controlled download area does not transfer ownership of the underlying software, platform logic, intellectual property, or derivative rights. You may not copy, distribute, modify, republish, license, or exploit protected materials except as expressly permitted by law or by written agreement.
6. Downloads, assets, and controlled materials
Where Becker Technologies makes available downloadable materials, release packages, support files, digital assets, or controlled documentation, such materials may be subject to role-based access, environment restrictions, version controls, operational limitations, and product-specific use conditions.
Download access may be logged, monitored, governed, or withdrawn where required. You must not redistribute, tamper with, misuse, or expose controlled materials beyond the scope of your authorised use.
7. APIs, integrations, and service interaction
If you interact with Becker Technologies systems through APIs, integrations, webhooks, service credentials, or related machine-to-machine access methods, you must do so in accordance with authorised usage patterns, technical requirements, security expectations, and any applicable platform rules.
You may not attempt to defeat rate limits, compromise signing or verification controls, create replay abuse, extract unauthorised data, or interact with our services in a way that threatens service reliability, security posture, or governance requirements.
8. Monitoring, logging, and investigation
To protect our services, users, systems, and legitimate interests, Becker Technologies may monitor, log, audit, correlate, retain, and investigate relevant activity associated with the use of its platforms, portals, downloads, integrations, and administrative surfaces, subject to applicable law and our privacy commitments.
This may include access activity, platform interactions, integration events, administrative actions, operational telemetry, security-relevant events, and related investigative signals required for governance, support, compliance, incident response, or platform protection.
9. Service evolution and changes
Becker Technologies platforms, features, interfaces, supported versions, integrations, access rules, and delivery models may evolve over time as part of normal SaaS operations, product development, release management, security improvement, support practice, or commercial change.
We may update, refine, replace, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service where appropriate. Continued use of the relevant services after changes become effective may constitute acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
10. Suspension or termination of access
Becker Technologies may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any platform surface, account, environment, or controlled material where necessary for security, operational integrity, breach response, contractual reasons, misuse prevention, governance, maintenance, or legal compliance.
Suspension or termination may occur without prior notice where urgent action is reasonably required to protect the platform, users, systems, or rights of Becker Technologies or others.
11. No transfer of platform ownership
Unless expressly agreed in writing, the provision of access to SaaS services, portals, downloads, documentation, or controlled environments does not transfer ownership of the platform, infrastructure, software base, operational framework, or related intellectual property. Rights of use remain limited to the access or licence position expressly granted.
12. Disclaimers and platform availability
Becker Technologies seeks to operate reliable and secure services, but availability, feature continuity, and environment behaviour may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, release activity, third-party dependencies, infrastructure events, security incidents, integration issues, or other operational factors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, public websites, portals, downloads, and related services are provided subject to the operational realities of SaaS delivery and platform governance. Specific service levels, warranties, or support commitments, if any, will usually be governed by separate written agreements rather than by these general Terms of Use alone.
13. Limitation and lawful use
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using Becker Technologies services or materials. You may not use the platform in a way that exposes Becker Technologies, its users, its partners, or its systems to unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorised conduct.
14. Updates to these terms
Becker Technologies may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect platform evolution, legal developments, security requirements, operational changes, or service model changes. Updated terms will apply from the time they are published or otherwise communicated, unless a later effective date is specified.
15. Contact
Questions regarding these Terms of Use or formal legal notices relating to platform use may be directed to Becker Technologies through the appropriate contact channels published on this website, including the legal contact details provided on the Contact and related legal pages.
